*If you are receiving financial assistance, this must be discussed and approved with the reception staff prior to surgery. If you have questions or need help, we are happy to assist you.
*You must receive approval from the following agencies BEFORE surgery. These agencies WILL NOT agree to donate after your pet has surgery or treatment.
Step 1: Go online and apply for Care Credit at www.carecredit.com. You can also apply by phone by calling (800) 677-0718. If you qualify, you may use this credit card for medical care. If you spend more than $200, you have 6 months to pay off your balance. If you do so, this is an interest-free loan.
If you are denied Care Credit, keep your reference number. The following agencies may ask for the reference number.
Friends of Animals in Need Apply by calling Russ at (401) 884-4937 or email email@example.com. For more information about Friends of Animals in Need, visit www.animalsinneedri.com. This agency typically donates up to $200.
Hands that Heal Apply by going to www.hthri.org and fill out an application. At the top of the page, click WHAT WE DO which will bring you to a drop down menu. Click APPLY FOR HELP. Then click on the APPLICATION on the upper left hand side of the page. Using a computer rather than a cell phone is recommended as the application may not open on a cell phone. Once you submit the application, you will receive a phone call within 24 to 48 hours. The SNYPP Clinic also has copies of the Hands that Heal application at our office. You can fill it out here and we will email it to Hands that Heal for you. Hands that Heal typically donates $50.
Red Rover Apply for assistance at www.redrover.org. This agency typically donates up to $200.
SPCA Apply by calling Dr. Finocchio at (401) 438-8150. You may need to call a few times. This agency typically donates up to $50. Once you are approved, you will receive a four-digit code. Please provide this code to SNYPP reception staff prior to treatment.
Volunteer Services for Animals Speak with the SNYPP reception staff for donation approval. This agency typically donates up to $35. For more information about VSA, visit www.volunteerservicesforanimals.org.
